Here, the word “stockings” absolutely requires the “s”.
Also, the asshole who wrote the previous comment did not capitalize the word “Degas”, which is a proper noun and which is ALWAYS capitalized.
In fact, the moron did not capitalize anything at all, which is really ignorant.
Also, “truly a masterpiece” is not a sentence because it does not have a verb.
